Sight Bob Wagglers With Jay Feather Inlays In Metallic, Pearlescent Purple.

I hope you are all safe after these testing times we have all been going through.

So,
My latest floats are .......

" Sight Bob Wagglers With Jay Feather Inlays In Metallic, Pearlescent Purple"
I am trying to be descriptive in the title but it
doesn't exactly roll off the tongue does it.....lol
😂😂
I have recently been inspired by another maker ( You know who you are) to make a more up to date pattern regarding my skill set.

I love the end result of these floats but for me making them is a right pain.
 ( Probable why it's been a while since I made the last set)I don't know why they irritate me when making them but they do.....🙄
The end result looks pretty good though even if i do so myself.

Both of these floats are made from balsa and cane with jay feaher inlays, are coated in a bespoke, purple, metallic, pearlescent, acrylic paint finished with black, gold, violet and crimson whippings.

These Sight Bob Wagglers are approxmiately 30 centimetres long and take around four swan shot or 6.4 grams to you younger folk

I must admit I will be sorry to use up the last of this paint as it it my favourite colour
 !!!!!!!!
So time to get my self in gear and provide a nice fish and float picture for the blog, preferably a nice tench.

Mini Driftbeaters....The Christening

 Morning all , The day had come to christen our new prototype Mini Driftbeaters. With Salford Pete in tow we arrived at a local venue and set up ready for a days float fishing. I marched off in front to secure our pegs while Salford Pete seemed to take an age to arrive. He was talking and walking slowly to some other bloke I did not recognise. It was only when he got closer did I recognise my old mate  "The Castertman" He popped down to see another mate of his who was also fishing. We had a chat for five minutes then Casterman skipped off stating he would be back when we had both set up and started fishing. Ten minutes later me and the oldman were ready for the all in. River Irwell PB On A New Mini- Alloy Stem Avon

 Hi all, I had a short session to test some Mini-Alloy Stem Avons out this morning and ... BOY.......AM I GLAD I DID !!!!!! I hoped down to the SFAs stretch of the Irwell to hopfully grab some grayling pictures with my new trotters. It was a smash and grab raid as I was taking out  T.O.W.M.B.O. (THE ONE WHO MUST BE OBAYED) out for an early Valentines Dinner. (So Im frantically witting this blog as Dudds has put me under some considerable pressure to get it to you tonight) 😆 I got up late to throw a spanner in the works as well. I managed a few coats of paint on some other floats I am currently making then it was off to the river. I had a few grayling within the first ten minutes so my pictures were in the bag early doors. 😁 I checked my pictures and concluded they where what I was after and therefore could now relax for the next hour, enjoying the peace of being out in the fresh air as the new avon meandered along then bobed under  "Hmm another lady I thought"...... the the
