Ultimate Ledger Floats - Sight Bob Wagglers.

Image
Hi All, I don't really re-vamp floats but a request to build some wagglers from some ledger float fittings took my fancy. Three different sized floats were created ........ Yellow stems and half and orange, half yellow sight bobs were requested with the rest of the decore left to me. I opted for a Hunter Green Body, (It's my thing at the momement) with black & yellow threads. The floats were not made to be identical but very similar in decor. I must admit I have never used floats like these before so I'm looking forward to some performance reports once completed. Image
Finally finished this set of five floats off. These ..... "Glow In The Dark Sight Bob Wagglers" were made for fishing for tench and bream and will be shortly on their way to Norfolk where they shall be getting wet in the spring. Taking approximately four swan shot.  (6.4g) These are a reel pain for me to make but I do enjoy the finished article. I hope you like them. Sight Bob Wagglers - In Metallic Blue

Image
I have only ever made two sight bob wagglers before so I am by no means an expert with this patten. The paint work is metallic, pearlescent blue with the top of the stem in plain white finished with a fluorescent day glow colour apart from the black float. All whippings are in black and purple and take approximately 5 SSG ( 8 g ) These should do the business John Derbyshire !!!!!! The ones pictured are the basic models.  I will be making them with all the whistles and bells  ( Feather, metallic whippings and a futher pearlescent finish ). 😉 I now have a few of these and will be testing them on a large reservoir in Bolton along with my perch bobbers I will be fishing over depth with chopped worm and caster with some shot on the lake bed to combat the tow.  The wagglers will be paired up with " The Creature Reacher "  and hopefully I or John will have a few slabs to show you. 😉 Until the next time . . . . . ...
