Antenee Wagglers Loaded & Adjustable

Image
Morning all, I have made a set of six of the 4g variant this time. The brass loading is adjustable to a maximum of 4g +. Without shot the floats cock to the tip of the body. This set of six have blue bodies, white and black collars with fluorescent orange, pink and black tips. Only two threads used on these which are black and gold. Really good for fishing at distance on the drop. No locking shot required just double up with the float stops. Im just about to finish one of for myself in charcoal grey with a slightly different finish. TTFN.      Peanut. Inserted 50:50 Camo Green Wagglers

Image
Hello again. I have just finished this set of four.... Inserted 50:50 Camo Green Wagglers. Although not identical these floats were made to compliment a set of Carp Stalkers recently finished. (Carp Stalkers) https://purplepeanut007.blogspot.com/2023/08/large-carp-stalkers.html These sarkanda and harwood floats are fishished with camo green, white and fluorescent orange paints, black, grey, gold and scarlet threads with a hand turned brass eye. These are a general coarse fishing floats and are quite small, taking 4BB (1.6g) plus lending themselves to multipal situations on rivers, lakes, ponds and canals. As I am a river angler mainly I would use these on the stick float line later in the session, on the drop, if the fish have come up in the water to intercept the loose feed offerings. Carp Stalkers In Glow In The Dark Yellow

Image
Morning all, I have not used or indeed made these for quite a while so when a request came in I was pleased to replicate an older pattern. I started making these around 2018 for stalking carp in the margins. A smaller float taking approximately 1 BB these are ideal for dropping in the margins ins.earch of carp. This set are made from reed, white & glow in the dark yellow paint, black turquoise and gold threads plus a hand turned brass eye.  The full set of floats below. TTFN      Peanut. Straight Wagglers In Olive Green.

Image
Morning all, I have, today, finished a prial of Sarkanda, Olive Green, Staight Wagglers made for maggot and bread fishing on the lower River Ribble this summer. Waggler fishing is something I bave negleted for the last few yearsas I have been enjoying my stick and centerpin fishing too much. I bought a Shimano 3010 GTM last year for light to medium waggler fishing so made some floats for the job. I can also use these on the lower Irwell, again using bread for the bream. Made with sarkanda reed, black and gold threads olive green, white and fluorescent orange day glow paint plus a hand turned brass eye. I am currently making a few more sets but have not decided on the body colours yet. Hopefully I will get some fish and float pictures as soon as the rivers  open...... anyway, something to look forward to. 😊 TTFN      Peanut. Straight Sarkanda River Wagglers

Image
Hi all, I have made a pair of river wagglers (Elongated sight tips)  while I had a little time on my hands. I don't often use these myself but when I I needed one this summer of course, the float box was empty ....lol. Threads used were black, violet, metallic golden blush, crimson, and black,  I needed one for fishing the Irwell three quarters of the way across the river using big pieces of bread after the bream and guess what?.....I didn't have any in my tube hence the pair you see below. I will also be making a few more before Christmas in various colours. Also,  I may add a very small band of black to the later additikns to help with indication when fishing in changing light conditions.
