New Feather Inlay Float Tube
I am still getting the hang of tube making.
Here is my latest offering.
Tube No5.
This treble banded and double feather inlayed float tube is made from pine with a brass tag cap on the lid plus brass centring pins and latches
The tubes measurements are as follows :
EXTERNAL = 290 mm by 60 mm
INTERNAL = 240mm by 40 mm
Hopefully I will be moving on to more exotic woods in the near future.

Again, I would like to stress.....none of this would be possible without the help and guidance of my father.
Whenever I have a lathe issue he is always there with and answer, modifying tools, researching new methods etc.
