 More Antenne Wagglers this week. Two at 5AAA & Two at 5BB. All in 50:50 blue paint with an oak stain plus black and gold whhippings. As stated previoisly I use mine mainly for silver fishing on slow moving rivers but it is equally at home on a lake or reservior fishing for roach tench and bream.  Morning all, I fancied making some more "5AAA Antennae Wagglers" as they are my go to float on slow running rivers fishing for roach and bream down the middle wind permitting. I have  just finished four in charcoal & slate grey with black and rose gold whippings. Just as they were complete I recieved a phone call from "The Caster Man" "Alrite mate. Av ya got any of these in semi-loaded roach floats?  "I lost mine in a tree last year". 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄😆 If I had known I could have made these semi-loaded for him. Guess I will be busy making some semi-loaded ones in the near future!!!!  Afternoon All, I have thrown myself back into float making after a few weeks off and have just completed multiple sets of . . . . . . "Alloy Stem Avons, Blue & Stained, 50:50 with fine tips". I have made these with balsa, hardwood and alloy for the stems. Made in three different sizes: 5BB - 1.6g. 3AAA - 2.4g, 5AAA - 4.0g. The two larger patterns should cover most of my roach fishing on slower, deeper rivers. The smaller one is around 5BB so will be a general float for lots of river situations.   TTFN . . . . Peanut. I was given a old Middy float box quite a few years ago off  "The Casterman" and have finally got round to kitting it out today. After some cleaning and sanding of the original box it was re-felted and re-sponged to fit some of my Avons, Fluted Avons, Mini-Irwell Sticks & Perch Bobbers. Quiye pleased. 😁 TTFN . . . . Peanut.  This weeks offerings are a pair of . . . . "Stained Slate Grey Avon's With Alloy Stems" with fat tips. Made for running water these floats are great when using baits such as maggots, pellets casters, bread and worm, The floats weight capacity is 6.4g (8 AAA) and 4.0g (5AAA) respectively. Threads used for this build are black and gold. Paints used are white fluorescent orange and slate grey. TTFN.      Peanut. Morning all, Another quartetet of floats finished this morning, this time 5AAA+ Avons with solid hardwood tips & stems. Finished with charcoal & slate grey paint on the bodies, white and fluorescent & orange tips. Threads used were black and gold.  Morning all, I have just completed a very special quartet of carp stalkers for a certain someone. These floats are painted with crimson, sky blue and white paint with fluorescent orange tips.
