Mini Feather Inlay Sight Bob Wagglers

Image
Hi all, My usual Sight Bob Wagglers are a medium to large in size.  The set below set are much smaller taking just under 3 BB for close quarters  work. I have made two versions in the same size, metallic blue and solid grey with various tip colours, threads used were black, gold, violet & red. I'm looking forward to using these on a couple of tench waters I have been meaning to fish for years but just never found the time. I'm am hoping to take my dad along as it has been years since we have been tench fishing together. I have included a picture next to a Large Sight Bob Waggler to give you some idea of the size difference. I have also heard that two of my local waters have just been restocked by Salford Friendly Anglers so I will also be having a drop on there in the near future TTFN   Peanut.   If you would like to look at my handcrafted  click on the link below.      https://purplepeanut007.blogspot.com/2017/01/handcrafted-floats-and-fishing.html?m=1       Join our club

Emerald Green Inserted Wagglers

Image
The first floats of 2021. Five inserted wagglers with fluorescent orange and yellow tips. Threads used were black, gold, violet, red, green, pale blue using brass eyes and made of sarkanda reed. I don't usually like green but after seeing the result s of these three I am now making some more. 😁 Made a couple more free styling. Here are the other two floats. Blue Sarkanda Inserted Wagglers In Pale Blue

Image
Hi all, Work has been keeping me busy of late but I have manage to complete the pair of floats below. As you know I just love using Sarkanda Reed as a float making material. Below is my latest pair of  " Inserted Sarkanda Wagglers " The new thread I have used is a pale blue in colour. I wasn't sure at first with regards to the new colour scheme but I have warmed to it as time passes. Threads used were Pale blue, violet, black & gold. I am going to try some more of these changing the main thread colour so stay tuned. 😁 If the new thread version looks anything like these I think I will be very happy. 😉 TTFN   Peanut.   If you would like to look at my handcrafted  click on the link below.      https://purplepeanut007.blogspot.com/2017/01/handcrafted-floats-and-fishing.html?m=1       Join our club......Its FREE  !!!!!!!  http://salfordfriendlyanglers.co.uk/join/

Sight Bob Wagglers With Jay Feather Inlays In Metallic, Pearlescent Purple.

Image
Hi all, I hope you are all safe after these testing times we have all been going through. So, My latest floats are ....... " Sight Bob Wagglers With Jay Feather Inlays In Metallic, Pearlescent Purple" I am trying to be descriptive in the title but it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue does it.....lol 😂😂 I have recently been inspired by another maker ( You know who you are) to make a more up to date pattern regarding my skill set. I love the end result of these floats but for me making them is a right pain.  ( Probable why it's been a while since I made the last set)I don't know why they irritate me when making them but they do.....🙄 The end result looks pretty good though even if i do so myself. 😁 Both of these floats are made from balsa and cane with jay feaher inlays, are coated in a bespoke, purple, metallic, pearlescent, acrylic paint finished with black, gold, violet and crimson whippings. These Sight Bob Wagglers are approxmiatel

Two Pairs Of Straight Sarkanda Wagglers

Image
I am addicted to using Sarkanda reed. 😁 Below are two pairs of Sarkanda Straight Wagglers. These floats are made for still waters but will be happy trotting their way down a river. Threads used are turquoise, burgundy, black violet and gold. I real like the turquoise and burgundy thread colours. I can still see these floats snaring an early season tench!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suspended bread just off the bottom would be my choice with these floats I think. Anyway, the end of fishing lock down is here. Stay safe people & be sensible TTFN   Peanut.
