Mini Feather Inlay Sight Bob Wagglers

 Hi all,

My usual Sight Bob Wagglers are a medium to large in size. 

The set below set are much smaller taking just under 3 BB for close quarters  work.

I have made two versions in the same size, metallic blue and solid grey with various tip colours, threads used were black, gold, violet & red.





I'm looking forward to using these on a couple of tench waters I have been meaning to fish for years but just never found the time.


I'm am hoping to take my dad along as it has been years since we have been tench fishing together.

I have included a picture next to a Large Sight Bob Waggler to give you some idea of the size difference.

I have also heard that two of my local waters have just been restocked by Salford Friendly Anglers so I will also be having a drop on there in the near future

Mini Driftbeaters....The Christening

 Morning all , The day had come to christen our new prototype Mini Driftbeaters. With Salford Pete in tow we arrived at a local venue and set up ready for a days float fishing. I marched off in front to secure our pegs while Salford Pete seemed to take an age to arrive. He was talking and walking slowly to some other bloke I did not recognise. It was only when he got closer did I recognise my old mate  "The Castertman" He popped down to see another mate of his who was also fishing. We had a chat for five minutes then Casterman skipped off stating he would be back when we had both set up and started fishing. Ten minutes later me and the oldman were ready for the all in. River Irwell PB On A New Mini- Alloy Stem Avon

 Hi all, I had a short session to test some Mini-Alloy Stem Avons out this morning and ... BOY.......AM I GLAD I DID !!!!!! I hoped down to the SFAs stretch of the Irwell to hopfully grab some grayling pictures with my new trotters. It was a smash and grab raid as I was taking out  T.O.W.M.B.O. (THE ONE WHO MUST BE OBAYED) out for an early Valentines Dinner. (So Im frantically witting this blog as Dudds has put me under some considerable pressure to get it to you tonight) 😆 I got up late to throw a spanner in the works as well. I managed a few coats of paint on some other floats I am currently making then it was off to the river.
