Hunter Green Bodied Antennae Wagglers 5AAA

Image
Hi all,  Continuing on the bodied waggler theme, below are some...... "Hunter Green Bodied Antennae Wagglers" These are much larger than the prevous pair coming in at 5AAA . p Finished with black and yellow whipping these six floats are finished in flouresent orang an black to cover most light conditions. I have used these floats fishing on the Manchester Ship canal using an ABU 704 and an Acolyte Plus, very sensitive and visable at five rod lengths out when fishing for roach........ but thats another story. 😉 I had a few more carp and silvers after work in Pocklington using the 5BB version. 5AAA vs 5BB version I have also been using asmall Irwell Stick as a dibber for down the side fishing, a very vesitle float. My old man arrived at my place of work around 15.00. I nipped out, dropped the house key off with him, finished my shift, then met up at the house. I had already sorted out Salfords gear out and mine is always ready. "Dad, what we doing? "Are you tired after the drive?" "Yeah, a bit", "Lets go fishing tomorrow". "We can have a few pints in Pocklington tonight" I was also a bit tired after work so we had a few local pints. I introduced my dad to pint of Farmers Blond Ale which he really liked and one I also like when having more than a few. 😉 We had a couple of brandy and cokes back at the house, just gla...

John was fishing the pole and struggled initially. I had a few roach then got bested by a good tench in the margin liliy pads. The float was performing very well, lifting to show the white band when my 3 no6 shot was displaced. Four good bream around 3lb graced my net in the next hour....not my target fish but very welcome. Float blog https://purplepeanut007.blogspot.com/2022/04/dads-lads-small-bodied-wagglers.html?m=1 John also hooked into a good tench but was more fortuate than I was and managed to land a belter.....approximately 5lb. He looks half asleep ..... poor lad ... lol. 😄😄😄😄 Good fish John, well done pal. John had a couple of bream but after that we really struggled, just a few small roach. We packed up and both agreed it was not the best session we have ever had !!!!! Still.....good to be out. 😊 TTFN   Peanut...
