Here are a pair of  . . . . . . Glow In The Dark,  Inserted Wagglers With Pearlescent Gold Jay Feather Inlays. The larger of the two takes about 6 BB and the smaller around 4 BB. I made these a while ago but never finished them off !!!! I had made plans over a week ago to have a silver session this Sunday on either the River Mersey or the Ribble. I got a pass for the day and night off the Mrs and was really looking forward to it. Just before I finished work on Friday afternoon I was approached by one of the managers. He asked me if I could could help them out and work on Saturday afternoon as well as the morning . . . . . . AND ALL MY ANGLING PLANS WENT OUT OF THE WINDOW THERE AND THEN !!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I agreed to work and let a few people know I had to change my plans. 😔. On Saturday afternoon the phone buzzed. It was John Derbyshire " The Ginger Assassin " " What you up to Peanut " " Nowt. At work till four " I replied with a glum tone in my voice. I'm sure he could feel my pain !!!!!!! " Do you fancy a few hours exploring the Yarrow. There is a new stretch I wont to explore. I'm free from three o'clock till late" " John ...

Here we have the classic float shape. 😁 Two sets of  " Fluorescent Perch/Grayling Bobbers " Equally at home in still and running water, these floats are quite versatile. Taking approximatrly 5AAA for maggots and 3AAA for small live baits The sets above are finished in balsa and cane wih Fluorescent Day Glow Pigment & Pearlescent Blue Jay feathers. A long overdue social session had been orgsnised by " The Casterman " on the Irwell. . . . . Unfotunately "Bald Eagle" was working and "Salfold Pete"  was on taxie duties to the hospital all day  so it was just myself and Derek Kenyon for this session. We arrived around tea time and settled down fishing next to each other for the first forty minutes. Fist things first. I present Casterman with the but section of his Tricast XRS float rod. I had replaced the butt eye for him and he seemed impressed with my efforts. I am no Andrew Boyne but it seemed pretty good to me.  I had the better peg of the two but the session did not start off to well for either of us with a bumped fish, then I lost another. I was glad the Casterman was out of site, hidden behind an overhanging beech tree. He would have chastised me relentlessly if he would have seen me lose two fish !!!!!!!!! At the thrid bite of the cherry I got a hook up. ...
